I usually try to buy "cheap" products especially when it's something that I don't get a lot of use from or use infrequently. When it comes to outdoor gear I've learned that you get what you pay for and you need to rely on your gear to not ruin your experience. These snow pants are worlds above anything sold in big box stores. Quality throughout.Pros: durable materials, actually waterproof, allows sweat to escape (tested during heavy snow shoveling, with cheap snow pants I would have been soaked), waterproof zippers, zippers from cuff to hip, heavy-duty re-enforced cuffs, Insulated just the right amount.Cons: None so farThese Obermeyer snow pants should last many years.
