Amazon suggested XXL but I went for XL because many of my jackets are in that size, the manufacturer website suggested XL was right for me, and it was XL that was a fraction of the going rate. I guess you'd call it a trucker jacket but it has biker elements too, with the zippered sleeves and side pockets. The meaningless applique I removed: thankfully it was stitched on and was a quick job to get off. I assume the applique was aimed at American buyers. So now it's just a plain, heavy wash denim jacket.The denim is quite thick, up in the medium range at about 14oz. It appears to be good quality although it's not selvedge denim as one might expect at this jacket's normal price. It's also made in China, which is a tad disappointing considering the usual price. The side pockets are zippered, and quite deep which is really handy. The breast pockets are the usual tiny affairs, more for show than useful storage. The zippers are quite heavy-duty looking, both for the sleeves and for the side pockets. Just to check, I removed the sleeves and it was quite easy to replace them. Fit both with the sleeves on, and removed, was good. Surprisingly the sleeves are just a tad long, but only around one centimetre, and the fit around my chest and gut is good. Buttoned up trucker jackets are rarely done up, I suspect, because it can be difficult to work the buttons, but this Cult jacket has reasonably-sized button holes and it's not as hard to do up as other jackets I've tried. I wore it for a trip into town and found that it was slightly tight in the armpit area, although I had multiple layers on for winter. Especially noticeable when driving, buttons not done up.A decent quality, well-made jacket if you like the styling and the guff the brand applies. In my case the messaging was easy to remove. If the price is right it's a bargain. The wash is extensive but thankfully it has avoided the "attacked by rabid dogs" look which to my mind signifies falling apart before it's even worn.Me quedo perfecta, la calidad de primera, buenas costuras y cierres.
