Hi, everyone! This is review about spy costume size 9-12 years old. Everything came( all pieces) on time, fast shipping. The costume is a hit now. We have three more weeks before Halloween and I hope this costume will survive before Halloween starts . My son wore it all day yesterday, he is 10 and the fit is just for now. I think correct size 8-10 for this. Today we had two his friends at home and all kids were wearing this costume for detective game at home. Now I am just praying that it can stay in shape before Halloween! Best suit ever! We love it!My 8 year old daughter wanted to be a detective for Halloween so we got her this costume. She looked adorable and received many comments since it was so unique. The hat worked well and stayed on all evening, as did the moustashe she chose. She didn't wear the glasses because it was dark outside anyway and she wanted to be able to see, but also because they were enormous and slipped right off. She has a tall, slim frame and the larger size worked great. It was roomy enough for warm under garments but didn't look bulky and too big. I made her an over-sized magnifying glass from an old metal strainer/sieve. Removed the mesh and wrapped the whole thing in black tape. Then hot glued a circle of clear plastic from a food storage bag on the look like glass. Quite a hit!My 8 year old loves this costume. It fits him well. The only thing I find a little strange is the jacket is kind of shiny.My son wasn't sure what he wanted to be for Halloween and he needed a costume that would work at our church's Harvest Festival (where you are playing a lot of inflatable games and other physical activities). He is 9 and is over the superhero costumes and he decided he wanted to be a secret agent. I just typed in secret agent costume in the search bar and found this costume. It was PERFECT! I was really impressed with the quality of the hat. The black trench coat - my husband actually thought it was a real coat and not a costume. This is probably the best quality costume we have ever purchased at Amazon.I thought this was a good buy. Yes, it's the typical cheap Halloween costume material, but what do you expect for the price? Originally, I planned to buy my son a real trench coat and piece together this costume, but I couldn't find a child's trench coat for an affordable price. My son normally wears a size Large, but this was quite snug on his stomach. It just barely made it. I would have ordered an XL (knowing Halloween costumes are normally cut small), but it was not offered.This is a cute dress up set and the hat seems quite well made for a kid's toy. Please note that the coat is a kind of plasticy fabric-esque and has no pockets. Some of our little spys may take exception at that - pockets would have been great for hiding spy equipment!This came as a replacement for an order that was lost. It didn't come with the hat! YIKES! Now, I need to scramble AGAIN to get a hat by halloween.This is a cute outfit, but is rather thin and cheap. It contains a jacket with velcro, a hat and glasses (these did not fit well at all). Overall, it is a good outfit, but not the best quality. My kiddo liked it just fine.
